We provide alternative school educators with athletic and educational programming that keeps their students motivated and engaged during the school day.

Our programming gives students the opportunity to work in teams and cooperate with others, encourages them to attend school and actively participate in their classwork, and helps them develop skills to become both successful students and productive citizens.  CAAEL administrator approximately 1,100 events and tournaments each year that include sports and activities such as:

We empower students and teachers in alternative schools by integrating athletic and academic programs into the school day, fostering personal growth and responsibility

Here’s how CAAEL works

STEP ONE

During the week, students qualify to participate in competitive, character-building CAAEL activities by meeting attendance, academic, and behavioral criteria.

STEP TWO

On the day of the event, qualifying students participate in the CAAEL event during the school day.

STEP THREE

After the event, teachers and students celebrate participation, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Eligibility starts over for the following week.

CAAEL programming greatly benefits students, educators, AND schools

CAAEL is cost-effective

CAAEL partners with each school’s instructional staff to deliver our programs, and utilizes their existing physical resources and transportation systems. This allows us to offer our services at extremely cost-effective rates, and enables us to impact the education of thousands of youth annually at minimal per student cost.

CAAEL is comprehensive

We are NOT an afterschool program. CAAEL programs are integrated directly into each partner school’s own curriculum and incentive system to become an essential component of the daily procedures and operations. Kids are extremely motivated to stay on target all week so that they can remain eligible to participate in the weekly CAAEL events during school hours.

CAAEL teaches sportsmanship

Every CAAEL event has an emphasis on leadership and sportsmanship rather than winning.  Throughout the school day and at CAAEL events, students learn how to interact positively with peers, show respect for authority figures, work as a team, demonstrate compassion and tolerance, win and lose gracefully, and make thoughtful decisions.
