Happy New Year! Thanks for the CAAEL Love!

Shawn’s Story: I was a CAAEL athlete and one thing I can say about CAAEL is that it saved me from a lot of bad decisions during high school. Up until I was introduced to CAAEL’s programs, I really didn’t have any sense of direction regarding school. I always wanted to play by my own rules and saw nothing wrong with that. Participating in CAAEL gave me a sense of purpose as to why I was in school. Without CAAEL my grades would have continued to drop. CAAEL taught me self-discipline and, above all, it taught me I was worth something.
